3. Step‑by‑Step Process



A. Set Up Your Brand Kit (One‑Time)




Upload brand assets


- Logo(s)
- Color palette
- Fonts (Web‑safe fonts if using Canva free version; upload custom fonts on Canva Pro)





Create a brand template folder


- `Templates > Brand` → Save all future templates here.


B. Create a New Design




Click + New design → choose the size that matches your output:


- Instagram post: 1080 × 1080 px
- Facebook cover: 820 × 312 px
- Email header: 600 × 200 px





Select a blank canvas or use an existing template (you can duplicate).




C. Add Background




Color: Drag from the left panel → Background color.


Image: `Photos` tab → drag image onto canvas → resize to fill.




D. Insert Text Elements




Click Text on left -> choose heading, subheading or body style.


Type your message.


Highlight text to change:


- Font family (sans-serif, serif, script).
- Size (e.g., 48pt for headline).
- Color (same as background color if needed).




Drag the text box to position it.




E. Layer Management




To send an element behind others: select it → right-click → Send to back.


To bring to front: Bring to front.


Duplicate by selecting and pressing `Ctrl/Cmd + D`.




F. Exporting the Design




Click Share > Export.


Choose format:


- PNG or JPEG for images.
- PDF if you want a printable version.




Select resolution (default 150 dpi is fine).


Download to your computer.



You now have a high‑resolution, print‑ready image of the "I am an asset" text that can be used in presentations, flyers, or as part of any marketing material.
